That strong, brown paper that you’re looking for is also known as kraft paper. “Kraft” actually means “strong” in German. It’s a machine made paper created using wood pulp. The wood pulp is pulverized and blended into large sheets of strong brown wood filament. Although it’s usually brown paper, it can be bleached to create a range of shades from brown to pure white.
