Turnaround
How long does production take?
Standard production is about 15-25 days from proof approval. Expedited production for qualified projects is about 3 business days. After production, orders ship from Florida; most deliveries arrive in 1-5 business days, depending on destination.
What are your minimums?
We’re set up for short runs, minimums vary by product, as a rule of thumb:
- Sheets: One case (typical case counts range 1,000–4,000 sheets, driven by sheet size and paper type).
- Rolls: 5 rolls, each 750’ long.
How do rush jobs work?
Tell us your date up front. We’ll confirm feasibility, lock in the schedule, and prioritize production accordingly. Fast approvals and print-ready vector files are the biggest factors in hitting a tight deadline.
Do you work with distributors?
Yes. We partner with distributors who value short-run flexibility, reliable timelines, and responsive support. Ask us for details if you’re interested in becoming a distributor.

Specs
What size paper should I order?
The maximum width is 24” and roll length is 750’. We can also die cut custom shapes and cut circles up to 20" diameter.
How do I measure for a custom size?
Use a sheet of newspaper to mockup a wrap or liner.
- For wraps, confirm it covers the item with enough fold for a tight seal.
- For liners, press the sheet into the container and trim it to fit
- Measure your final template and send us the dimensions.
What are popular sheet sizes?
Common choices include 10" × 10.75", 12" × 12", 15" × 10.75", and 15" × 15". If you’re unsure, share your container size and we’ll recommend a fit.
Sheets vs. rolls - how should I decide?
- Sheets speed up line service and portioning; easy to count and store.
- Rolls offer continuous supply and flexibility to cut lengths on the fly.
- Pick based on your workflow and staff preference.

Color
What files do you need?
Send vector artwork in AI, EPS, or high-resolution print-ready PDF (fonts outlined or embedded). Vector keeps edges crisp and colors consistent.
Do you design logos or create artwork?
We’re a printer - you provide the finished art. If you need help, we can outline file prep requirements or refer you to design partners who create press-ready files.
How many colors can you print?
We can do full color printing.
What does the proofing step include?
You’ll receive a digital proof showing placement, scale, and color callouts. Review carefully and approve to start production. Prompt approvals keep your schedule on track.

Performance
Greaseproof vs. grease-resistant - what’s the difference?
- Greaseproof is engineered to block oils.
- Grease-resistant slows absorption over-time but doesn’t fully block oils and fats.
- Tell us the menu item (e.g., fries vs. pastries vs. saucy tacos), and we’ll help match you with a suitable product.
Insulated paper vs. foil - how do I choose?
- Insulated paper: three-ply, printable, microwaveable, good heat retention, strong fold/shape, and grease resistance.
- Insulated foil: excellent heat retention (honeycomb structure), holds a crease tightly around items like burgers and baked potatoes.
- Your choice depends on prep method, holding time, and reheating needs.
Butcher paper vs. freezer paper - which is better?
- Butcher paper is uncoated, great for fresh meats, seafood, prep, and even table runners.
- Freezer paper has a poly coating on one side to limit gas/moisture transfer and reduce freezer burn.
Why use cheese paper instead of plastic wrap?
Cheese needs to breathe. Cheese paper balances humidity and airflow to protect flavor, rind, and texture. Plastic can trap moisture or odors and shorten shelf life once opened.
How does your hot paper work, exactly?
Hot paper creates a moisture barrier, has fold memory, is biodegradable/compostable, and is microwaveable - a smart alternative to foil for many wrapped items.

Are your papers biodegradable or compostable?
Most products are biodegradable, compostable, and recyclable. We prioritize food-safe papers and avoid PFAS.
Do you offer renewable or plant-based options?
Yes. We have many options that are renewable or recyclable. Tell us your sustainability goals and we’ll recommend suitable products.
Are your materials FDA compliant for direct food contact?
We use food-safe products appropriate for their intended applications. If you need documentation for a specific program, ask during quoting.
Shipping, Payments &
Reorders
Where do orders ship from?
All production is in Florida. Transit is typically 1-5 business days, depending on the destination.
What payment methods do you accept?
All orders are custom and payment is required upfront. We accommodate common payment methods, including credit card, ACH, check, or eCheck.
How do reorders work?
Reorders are straightforward. Reference your prior job number, confirm quantities/specs, and approve an updated proof if anything changes (size, color, art). Seasonal or special-event versions are easy to add.

How do I choose between DefenseWrap® (Light vs. Heavy), Hot Paper, Insulated Paper, and Insulated Foil?
Start with the food and intended use. If it’s a cold sandwich, pastry, taco, or basket liner, DefenseWrap® Light gives you clean presentation and moisture control without extra bulk. For hot or greasy builds (smash burgers, hot subs, saucy wraps) or delivery/hold times, DefenseWrap® Heavy adds tear resistance and structure.
For microwaveable wraps that require a good fold and a renewable coating, choose Hot Paper. When heat retention and grease control are critical for items like grab-and-go burritos or food held in a warmer, our three-ply Insulated Paper (microwaveable) or Insulated Foil (maximum heat hold) provides superior performance and durability. As a general guide: use Lightweights for liners and cold foods, Heavyweights for hot and greasy items, Hot Paper for microwaveable wraps, and Insulated materials for maximum heat retention and durability.
What does “PFAS-free” mean for DefenseWrap®, and how should I think about disposal?
PFAS-free means we do not intentionally add per- or polyfluoroalkyl substances (“forever chemicals”) to DefenseWrap®. Instead of PFAS-based barriers, we rely on paper engineering and coatings that meet performance goals without that chemical family.
Disposal depends on your program: the paper itself is biodegradable/compostable/recyclable, but food residue can affect whether a local recycler or composter will accept it. Many facilities require paper to be mostly free of grease and food. If you’re pursuing composting at scale, check your hauler’s rules (some accept food-soiled fiber, others don’t). For front-of-house bins, clear signage helps customers put the right material in the right stream.
How precise is your color matching? I use specific brand PMS colors.
We have full color print options and will match your brand colors. Color accuracy is strong when you supply exact PMS colors and vector art. A few variables to keep in mind: the base paper (white vs. kraft), ink coverage (large floods vs. fine lines), and screens/halftones (tints of a PMS color) can influence the color tone.
